PWA has appointed a new director to support the growth of its operations in Manchester.
Paul Forshaw, who joins from Liverpool-based DLP Planning, will head up our Manchester office which was launched in April 2025 and is based in Castlefield.
He brings almost 20 years of planning experience to PWA, having previously held roles with national and international planning consultancies and developers, including Turley, Peel Land and BNP Paribas Real Estate.
Paul offers significant experience in the residential and commercial sectors, including in strategic land promotion. More recently he has focused on industrial projects and gained experience in planning for National Strategic Infrastructure Projects.
Paul Walton, managing director of PWA Planning, said: “We’ve witnessed solid growth in our Manchester office over the last 12-months and felt now was the right time to take this to the next level and bring in someone highly experienced to lead the next phase of growth in the region.
“Paul offers us significant additional capabilities and sector knowledge and will play an instrumental role in growing our team and client base in the region.”
Paul Forshaw added: “PWA is a growing planning consultancy with strong ambition to continue expanding its work with clients across the UK and its specialist sectors are very aligned with my own experience.
“The opportunity to lead the firm’s Manchester office and be a part of that growth journey was a compelling one and I’m delighted to be part of the team.”
